About
My name is Ashley Thouless and I have been in the vehicle repair business since approximately 1998. I was raised and educated in Thornbury, and currently live in the local area.
I began my career with an Apprenticeship in a local garage. From here I moved onto work in a couple of other local garages learning different aspects of the trade. These were valuable years gaining experience and confidence. The next chapter in my career was starting up my own business as a Mobile Mechanic, and therein Ashley Thouless Vehicle Repairs was born! Many of my more established customers may remember my big yellow van.
The business flourished whilst being mobile, enabling me to take the next step in evolving and improving the business by moving into premises in Oldbury-on-Severn for a few years. From here I relocated to another site in Oldbury-on-Severn, where my customer base expanded, and I was able to venture into waters unknown and take on an Apprentice of my own.
It's been a bumpy ride at times and I've encountered a few knocks along the way, as most people do in life, but with the passion and love for what I do, sheer determination and an amazing support network alongside me, I was fortunate enough in 2015 to be offered the opportunity of taking over larger premises incorporating its own MOT bay here at GROVESEND GARAGE. This being my ultimate goal and dream I obviously couldn't let it pass me by and so the next chapter in my life and career begins.
